The brand draws inspiration from architectural, sculptural, and futuristic aesthetics with an emphasis on high end luxury. The Costume Luxe collection combines traditional aesthetics with contemporary vision through the exploration of new materials and techniques.

Tiffany & Co Unveiling

Last night we attended the unveiling of Tiffany & Co's Great Gatsby collection.

The collection was very elegant, decadent with diamonds and pearls.

In addition to viewing the collection, they invited us for the preview of the Great Gatsby movie which

I highly recommend to you all!!

The costumes were designed by Prada and Catherine Martin who were approached after several Prada and Miu Miu pieces were inadvertently worn during test scenes - and they were found to work really well. The pair then worked together on pieces that evoked the Twenties - without getting too weighed down in "historical pedantry", as Martin puts it.

The designer adapted 40 dresses from the Prada and Miu Miu archives for the Baz Lurhmann film, including the party dress worn by Carey Mulligan.

 Amazing movie, cool music, great fashion, stunning jewels - sounds brilliant to me!
